Pros
Learned a lot, amazing people (peers), still great leadership in the SRG. if you go, try and get in there.
Cons
The product is for the most part Trash. They have had some good ideas on where the product should go over the years but stubborn frat leadership refused to pivot and change against heavyweights like Linkedin and indeed. All the bad reviews you see now about Apollo, Irina and mass exodus of great talent is all true. But you can’t blame Irina for doing her job. The whole purpose of Apollo is to trim and clean up failing companies and sell them. This is on the leaders before they came in. If they had done their jobs there would be no Apollo. So In turn the culture and talent and all the other bad stuff came from that. Only place still that has awesome leadership is the SRG. Passionate and strong VP.
