Pros
Imaging related systems are interesting to design. Good skills in the technical community. Salary and benefits are adequate. Good working relationship with most of the people.
Cons
-Film and printed images for medical applications are dying businesses. -No meaningful investment in the future. -Going back to the Kodak days, a full decade employment shrinkage. -Forced ranking is used to fire people to save having to pay severence packages. -All of our manufactuing jobs have been sent to China. -Mid and upper level management that does what they need to do to maximize their personal bonus, regardless of what it does to the long term health of the company.
