Pros
Great experience for new grads. Able to work around a schedule that is good for the employee. Great flexibility. Pay is based on the complexity of each individual case. The more one learns, the more difficult the cases that are offered, and the better the pay. Able to work in a home environment to really get to know patients and their families. Nursing supervisors are great and always there when needed. They train nurses.
Cons
Lower on the pay scale when compared to hospitals. Expensive health benefits.
