Pros
There is very little managerial overhead i.e. redtape is all but non-existent. Concerns can be brought up with the CEO directly and there exist processes in order to provide anonymous feedback. The work itself is extremely motivating: it's not every day that you get to make high impact changes to the way robotics is introduced to an industry! CRL is filled with brilliant people to learn from and the culture around feedback and learning is very positive.
Cons
The company is growing very quickly which puts strains on certain systems that worked well when it was younger. These problems crop up and get resolved (and resolved for scale); but there will be pain points in using certain tools. Relationships with clients can be difficult to manage, especially because the clients' industries are very old-fashioned. This isn't as much of a reflection of management itself as it is the difficulty to manage expectations with the introduction of innovative technology.
