The work schedule is flexible, the benefits are good, and the work environment is fairly laid back.

The management is surprisingly incompetent and hides behind the successes of the employees. The quality of work output is low for a consulting firm, primarily because there is a lack of engineers to produce and review work. The vast burden of responsibility is placed on the designers and often not even reviewed by an engineer before being submitted. Much of the work is never reviewed by a PE or anyone with qualifications to adequately review the work. Project timelines are poorly managed causing frantic pre-deadline scrambles to get packages out the door.
