Pros

-Caring, hardworking coworkers who genuinely want the best for patients. -Meaningful work with opportunities to learn and develop new skills. -A fast-paced environment that can help build experience.

Cons

Communication from leadership often appeared genuine on the surface, but there was little meaningful follow-through. Employees were encouraged to provide feedback, yet concerns rarely resulted in lasting improvements or additional support. Productivity quotas and workloads continued to increase, contributing to high levels of stress and burnout. Employee recognition and support did not keep pace with increasing demands High turnover created additional strain on remaining staff. Compensation did not always reflect experience, performance, or additional responsibilities. Long-term employees could consistently receive positive evaluations and take on extra work without seeing comparable pay growth, while newer hires were sometimes brought in at similar or higher wages.

Carolina Therapy Connection Response

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. While it is difficult to read, we appreciate you recognizing the caring and hardworking coworkers at Carolina Therapy Connection and the meaningful work being done for the children and families we serve. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience has felt this way. Concerns related to feeling supported, heard, valued, recognized, and fairly compensated matter deeply to us, and we do not take them lightly. Our heart is to lead with humility, compassion, and a genuine desire to care well for both our team and the families we serve. We know we will not always get everything right, but we are committed to listening, learning, and growing with honesty and grace. We do have several ways for employees to share concerns, including annual surveys, HR support, direct conversations with leadership, and ongoing opportunities for feedback throughout the year. Our leadership team reviews feedback and uses it to guide decisions, improve communication, and strengthen support across our clinics. If any interaction made you feel dismissed, embarrassed, or unsupported after raising a concern, we are truly sorry. That is never our heart or intention. We want every team member to feel respected, encouraged, and cared for. If you are open to it, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly so we can better understand your concerns and work toward meaningful solutions.
