It is ok to work for Carrier in case you don't find a better place to work at

Cons

Managers are not very techinical, and you may have a manager who has either no experience in your field or tries to learn from you and act he knows it all.

The people, the salary, Christmas vacation

Cons

Benefits are terrible, toxic leadership is prolific, chances for advancement are limited, micromanagement is normal, evolution and change are nonexistent, commitment to diversity and inclusion are superficial at best, the CEO draw a compensation of tens of millions of dollars per year while laying people off, the CHRO is one of the most toxic people leaders I have ever come across.
