As an industry leader in quality and market-share across our brands and products, we have some of the most talented engineers, marketers, and manufacturing talent in the industry. We also have far below the average turnover rate with many of our employees from manufacturing on up to the executive team staying with us and advancing within the company of 10+ year careers.
In regard to telework, many of our company roles benefit from having teams on-site. However, we pride ourselves in providing work/life options for our employees; whether that means an adjusted schedule, working from home, or travelling regularly as part of their position. We do this to suit the varying needs of our employees in order to retain talent. However, this option is not possible for all positions as many need to be on-site in order to complete their jobs.
As a product design and manufacturing company we traditionally have been engineer- dominated. That has advantages in terms of our demonstrated superior ability to create innovative products and to develop unique manufacturing processes that enable us to stay ahead of the competition. However, this means that we have not focused enough on a holistic management and training approach to foster talent across all professional areas here at the company. This is something we are focusing on and working to improve. As a company that designs and manufactures products, designs and builds the machines those products are made on, and then goes on to market and sell those products, we have a wide array of professional talents, all of which contribute equally to our success and strive to provide training and career tracks for our employees.
