Pros

I have worked for Cascade Park Communities since Feb 2014. I started out as the evening shift floor nurse and very shortly (6 months) was given the opportunity to join the Administrative Team as the Admissions Coordinator for one program. Since then, I have grown into the role of Admissions Manager and have been given so many more opportunities to gain insight into other roles in the company. If you show initiative, a collaborative mindset, and hard work, the growth opportunities at Cascade Park Communities (Gardens, Vista, Active Day) are countless and the team is eager and excited for you to advance! They truly go above an beyond to help you set and then reach your career goals.

Cons

Cascade Park's mission to remain as a safety net for seniors on Medicaid in our community means slightly less than competitive wages, however, they compensate with other benefits!

Pros

Collaborative team, and if you are willing to work hard and be dedicated, you will be easily noticed by the core team leaders and asked to step into bigger leadership roles.

Cons

Not always able to pay top competitive wages due to being mission-oriented, serving a low-income population.

Pros

Flexibility: with a toddler and career, I appreciate my boss' flexibility with my work schedule. Pay: competitive but what sent me into the happy level was the benefits. I've never had insurance this good, plus the paid time off components that I negotiated has helped me have a more balanced work/home life. My baby girl sure appreciates having a happier mom! Culture: While not perfect, our CEO and HR Director are trying to make it perfect! If we spend more time together than with our own families, we want to enjoy working as a team, so this year there is a big focus and monthly hour-long training on positive culture, respect, teamwork, etc. with practical outlays to this

Cons

As a primarily Medicaid budget I cannot get the exact pay I want, but they spice it up with better benefits to me and time off which compensates for the pay grade, plus more work flexibility with a small child. That's why I made the switch to this organization and I don't regret it at all!
