Pros
WFH every day, able to work from anywhere in the world for 3 months a year. No sense of performance, so if you just want to get your salary and do nothing, it is a great place for you.
Cons
So much that I don’t even know where to start. Firstly, you're always at risk — the amount of layoffs and big redundancies over the past few years is staggering, so you’d better keep your CV always up to date. Secondly, almost everyone in the company is completely disengaged. See the upside of doing nothing? Good luck getting anything done that requires support from anyone besides yourself — it just won’t happen, because people simply don’t care. Management is completely useless. Most are non-existent day to day, and the ones who are around… you’ll wish they weren’t. The company shifts strategy every three months, chasing one "silver bullet" after another, hoping it’ll fix everything — even when it makes absolutely no sense. The product and technology organization is completely lost — no product strategy, no tech strategy, and absolutely no clue what it means to be a product-led company. And to top it all off, they acquired another company and now have no idea what to do with it. It’s a complete mess.
