Pros

- Colleagues are generally friendly and easy to work with, creating a supportive day-to-day working environment. - Office next to MRT

Cons

- No clear long-term strategy and direction - Some very senior management appear to have advanced during the rapid growth phase of e-commerce rather than through deep functional expertise. Which means you need to spend significant time explaining your work, decisions, and recommendations upward rather than receiving any actionable guidance. - Micromanagement can be present in certain teams, with a stronger focus on monitoring execution rather than empowering teams. - Work-life boundaries are not always well respected, with meetings during lunch hours and messages outside working hours or on weekends being relatively common. - Accountability can feel uneven in some cases, where successes may be attributed upward while failures are more likely to be placed on individual contributors. - Job security can be unpredictable, with reorgs and layoffs happening with very limited notice.
