Pros
The Malta office is one of the few positives Food provided a few times a week
Cons
Despite the company branding itself as open and people-focused, the reality internally is the complete opposite. The culture is highly hierarchical, with power concentrated among a tight-knit group of senior leaders who appear to protect each other at all costs, avoiding accountability entirely. Senior management operates through micromanagement and intimidation. There is a pattern of twisting narratives to make themselves look good while shifting blame onto others. It often felt political and performative, where visibility and self-promotion are rewarded over actual hard work. In some cases, it felt like employees were actively undermined or sidelined if they were perceived as a threat, while strong work was appropriated by more senior figures without proper recognition. There is also a serious lack of stability. Redundancies are handled in a way that creates ongoing fear and uncertainty, and it often felt like experienced employees were pushed out only to be replaced by lower-paid hires.
