Pros
Employment, weather, good location, Florida, better city
Cons
I see significant potential for enhanced technical progress, and fostering better collaboration among departments would be advantageous. As a scientific organization, it is crucial that employees are acknowledged and treated according to their expertise and qualifications, at least meeting the minimum standards; this would cultivate an excellent work environment for talented professionals. However, the existence of micromanagement and the lack of technical proficiency among upper management impede career advancement and overall job satisfaction. Additionally, appointing qualified individuals to their appropriate roles, rather than promoting based on favoritism while neglecting skills and knowledge, would greatly enhance the workplace. It is disheartening to witness such a large organization being led by a departmental head who is deficient in knowledge, skills, and the right mindset. Moreover, some managers seem to act merely as timekeepers for their employees instead of focusing on enhancing their knowledge and skills. The validation team is full of irregularities and dirty politics.
