Pros

The health insurance is hands down amazing. AMAZING. I don't know if I could ever work anywhere else, simply because of the benefits package. ESPECIALLY if you or your family have pre-existing health conditions. As a tech, I go to multiple sites, and I am the entire Nuc Med department. The independence is wonderful. No micromanaging here! Show up, do your job, go home! Management is good. They've put folks that care into position over the techs. No nights/weekends/call. Holidays off!

Cons

Sites rotate. Your schedule can change at any time, so don't settle in thinking you are somewhere permanent. You'll definitely get your 40 hours in, but WHERE you get them in may not be consistent. They pay for mileage/tolls/parking, but not for drive time. Most sites are pretty centrally located, but a few of them are out there. Sometimes you can have a 1.5-2.5hr commute.... each way to a site. That's up to 5 unpaid hours that day of travel time. Again though, MOST sites are centrally located. You are the entire department. If you get a really hard stick, a lot of the sites won't have anyone else there to give it a go. If a camera breaks, you're the troubleshooter. They do have people you can call to try to walk you thru fixes, but you will be alone on site.
