Pros

- It sounds cliché, but the people. Passionate, smart, supportive, curious, helpful (I could keep going!). Being surrounded by incredible humans like those at Catapult makes you want to be your absolute best everyday. - You have the opportunity to turn your ideas into reality without the burden of bureaucracy. You are trusted and encouraged to try new things, learn from mistakes, and iterate. This is the best type of learning and it's what keeps me super engaged, motivated, and it's why I stay. - I feel like I belong in my team and that means I can bring my whole self to work. - Career growth - I have had many opportunities in different roles, and this has grown my skills tremendously. My manager genuinely cares about my career growth and wellbeing, and prioritises it, even when I don't! - The focus on mental health - lots of education, trained mental health allies across the globe, frequent conversations about balance. - Flexibility - Catapult is a place where you can build your work around your life, and be open about the things you are prioritising and why they are important.

Cons

- Keeping boundaries and being disciplined in achieving work-life balance. Because I care about the people I work with and Catapult's success, it is easy to slip into working too much, especially when your internal network is global. This has been a personal development focus of mine in the last 12 months, and my manager has made sure I prioritise it.

Pros

Great product, industry leader, good people inside the company. Fun place to work.

Cons

Hit a ceiling and there wasn’t any upwards growth into more senior roles.

Pros

Casual office and WFH opportunity

Cons

Just about everything else. High pressure, high volume of tickets coming in, working with many important teams without the staff to support the volume, the work environment in office was very weird and I did not enjoy it, so I worked from home most days despite my manager's desire to have me in office. wouldn't recommend this facet of the business to anyone who doesn't have a wild passion for product/tech support - it's not how I would chose to get started in the world of professional sports if that is what you are after longterm
