Pros
Before this job, I had difficulty coursing through my career as a speech language pathologist assistant due to previous workplaces being unfair and overzealous with productivity. Those prior experiences had made me doubt my abilities as a clinician. After 6 months as a provider at a school with CSG, I realized that it really mattered who I was surrounding myself with in my workplace! I have been really lucky to have an awesome supervisor who continually teaches me how to be a better clinician. And if there is an issue with my setting that I feel may be taking advantage of my work, I have my school staffing consultant that advocates for me! There is such a tight-knit community that is within CSG that I am extremely lucky to be a part of. I could tell that this was a company that was built by SLPs who understand what it is like to go through being taken advantage of. This completely diminished my imposter syndrome and has fully inspired me to pursue my graduate studies to become an SLP! Thanks CSG!
Cons
I wish there were more opportunities for the school staff to collaborate with our clinic staff! It would be great to meet everyone from the company :)
