Pros
A very energetic team environment. Friendly competition between coworkers. Extremely competitive pay. There is a shared store commission model. This galvanizes workplace relationships and team selling.
Cons
If things go missing on a day you worked in that store, you are at least partially charged for it. So if a $700 iPhone is lost, stolen or put back wrongly you and your coworkers that day must split that cost equally. The company does not absorb loss, the sales reps do. There is a considerable amount of bickering and blaming and criticism between the back office and the sales floor.
