Pros
You have some flexibility in regards to selling phones on appointments off of your normal scheduled hours, meaning that you can come in and sell a phone at 1AM if you wanted.
Cons
No one cares. No one cares about the store. No one cares about you. They only care about sales. Period. Why clean up the store or help you if they aren't paid for it? Training is sub par. I was not properly trained on the benefits enrollment. I asked why this was not properly taught and what can we do to remedy it. Their response: I got cussed at and given the finger. They boast 50% commission. Not true. Cellular Sales always wants the bigger piece of the pie. The company has illegal practices of charging employees for everything. The company plays off your ignorance and laziness. They will walk all over you. The company will literally do the bare minimum just to get by. Why you ask? Because it costs the least amount. Charge backs / Deactivations: Let's say you sold a phone. The customer is super excited and loved his experience with you. 4 weeks later an issue arises. They call Customer Care and have someone who is less than cordial, they now leave Verizon. You lose your commission (not bad) and then are charged the cost of the phone because they did not stay with Verizon for 6 months. I.e. someone buys a $800 phone for $100. They decide to leave, you pay $700 because they left and you lose your $50 commission. Sounds great, right? Avoid this place like the plague.
