When it comes to your workload, I strongly encourage you to discuss your goals and focus areas with your manager to ensure you are contributing in a manner that is most beneficial to yourself and the company.
To your point on inclusion, creating an inclusive environment where employees feel comfortable bringing their authentic selves to work is an important element in enabling the strong, high-performance culture that drives our business success. I have been, and will continue to be, very transparent that Cengage Group does not endorse any single political ideology or belief, rather we are focused on fostering a culture where all employees feel invited to engage in respectful dialogue.
As an employer, I do feel it is important that we make wellness and mental health a priority, and that employees know above all else they are supported in taking care of themselves and their loved ones. Inclusion, support and transparency are the intent of the communications we craft on these issues.
