Pros
Great people - I've been lucky enough to work in a close-knit team in which everyone really supports each other. Easy to learn and great access to training, and senior members of staff are willing to pass on knowledge and share advice. Opportunity to really own projects and have responsibility/accountability from an early stage if you work hard and show you are capable and willing. Overall a good company vibe with clear goals and targets, but room and budget for creativity and to try new things where necessary. Great central location and nice office with free breakfast.
Cons
Over-arching heavy focus on praising sales teams with less attention on how much marketing (and other teams i.e. editorial) do. At times, promotions within the marketing team seems slower than within the sales team, and marketing job titles less senior than counterparts in sales teams.
