Pros

Centric is extremely flexible in terms of work/life balance. Staff work from home office or client site, open to non-traditional working hours and offer well rounded benefits package for employees and W2T's. Consistent feedback is provided from Sr. Leadership, which is great as you always know where you stand. Although we are a virtual company, we are always attending happy hours, strategy meetings, team building activities that help keep us all connected. Company always provides financial updates, which is great to get an overall view of where we stand.

Cons

More centralized procedures need to put into place. Every business unit work entrepreneurially so there is no cohesiveness in procedures.

Thank you for your positive feedback and sharing some meaningful examples. It's especially good to know you are receiving feedback as open communication is a critical component of aligning expectations and actions so that everyone is working together. Your constructive feedback is also very welcomed. As you know Centric has been growing rapidly and adding new Business Units in multiple locations. Those are both good things but, as a result, we hayve Business Units at varying levels of maturity which has indeed contributed to inconsistency in many procedures. More information will be shared at the all company meeting in March however you should know that we are launching a company wide initiative to specifically address this point of feedback. It's also important to know that while there are some things that should be consistent across all of Centric we will never want to take "consistency" too far. One of the things our employees always share as a positive is that we have an entrepreneurial spirit and aren't afraid to fail when trying new things. It's important that we keep that part of our culture thriving and don't overdo consistency to the point where people don't have the freedom to take smart risks when trying something new.

Pros

Mostly self-managed schedule. Very flexible in terms of scheduling and work/life balance.

Cons

The company would benefit from meaningful investment in leadership diversity, not just in stated values, but in who actually holds decision-making power. The current senior leadership is not reflective of the broader workforce or the clients served. Additionally, there’s little to no formal or informal mechanism for employees to influence company direction. Decisions are made at the top and communicated down. Positions of authority are held by people with personal relationships to the founders or other senior leaders, not those with backgrounds or experience with technology or specific types of projects.
