Pros
-A lot of opportunities to take on new responsibilities and experiences -Friendly teammates -Diverse workforce
Cons
Oh boy. -Hiring multiple people for the same role in order to determine the better candidate and firing the other. -Managers will weaponize fake Performance reviews to strongarm you into compliance rather than have a discussion with you like an adult -Managers not actually considering bandwidth and continually piling work on you while they slack off -Manager watching instagram rather than paying attention in a meeting -Leadership telling staff they can’t have WFH flexibility anymore only for leadership to work from home for weeks, even months on end -Bathroom lock was broken so we used a pair of scissors for a good half year -“Promotions” that come with no raise in salary or even paperwork to make it official -Out of college graduates are taken advantage of because they don’t know any better -work life balance is not possible -when the company has a bad quarter, they laid off dozens of people across teams and the CEO avoided the next all hands meeting
