Hello, Century College is always looking to improve our student and employee experience. If you would like to provide more details on how we can address the Cons you listed, please contact our Human Resources department at HR@century.edu or by calling 651-779-5804. We also have our new employee Office of Employee Ombuds: Alternative Dispute Resolution Services and that person is available to meet on West Campus in the Center for Professional Development or you can call 651-779-3974. We (HR and/or the Ombuds) are very responsive and we are here to provide you support, but we need to have individuals willing to step forward to discuss what their issues or experiences are specifically in order to do that. We are happy to help with any questions or concerns you may have.
Thank you for your feedback. We hope you continue to enjoy working at Century College and if you ever have any questions or concerns that you would care to share, please feel free to reach out to Human Resources.
The position offers meaningful hands-on writing experience and the chance to contribute to real campus stories. The environment is encouraging, deadlines are reasonable, and the team genuinely wants students to grow as writers. The flexible scheduling makes it easy to balance coursework and job responsibilities.
Cons
Some project guidelines could be clearer, especially for new writers learning the expectations. Access to editors or faculty mentors can vary depending on staff availability.
