Pros

Flexible time/schedule. Pay is good for area. Good sense of camaraderie and fellowship with team members on the floor.

Cons

Blatant disregard for any innovation in manufacturing processes including safety. Near zero effective training for floor and maintenance workers. Haphazardly unsafe work conditions with archaic equipment, unlevel floors, aisleways that are choked off by equipment, product or even TRASH , no LOTO program for operators, and an overwhelming attitude that any ideas outside of established wire and cable doctrine are heresay and quickly tossed out. Director level employees that routinely state "we've been doing that this way for 75 years". No sense of forward thinking or growth. No desire to inspire outside the box thought.

Cons

I’m sharing this so future applicants know what to expect. I interned with this company in summer 2024 and was offered a full-time position in November 2024, which I accepted in February 2025. I made major life decisions based on that offer, including moving home for the job. The week of my college graduation, I was suddenly told there was a hiring freeze — something they admitted they had known about for a while but never communicated. They continued to have me meet with team members as if I were still going to be hired and told me they would contact me once the freeze was lifted. By June 2025, I looked for other opportunities, and around that time the company posted publicly that they had hired new interns. I was never contacted, never updated, and never given any explanation. I’m disappointed by how unprofessionally the situation was handled, especially after completing an internship there and after they extended a formal offer. I hope the company improves its communication and respects the time and lives of future applicants.
