Great environment and mission, but heavy workload - Scientist II Cerus Corporation Employee Review

Feeling grateful for my job at Cerus. It's refreshing to work for a company with a fantastic mission. While all companies have their highs and lows, I love how the employees work together to keep moving forward. Cerus's mission, dedicated employees, and competitive benefits have made my time here great.

Would love to get to know more of the remote employees - sometimes this is difficult if you are not on the same team or project.

Work Life balance isn't bad. Lots of creativity to be had. Challenges were present, but also interesting. Projects and CDMOs were interesting and fun to interact with.

A lot of divisiveness and very little team synergy Budget rules all, so a lot of solutions that would be the right path are often not taken. Lots of pointless presentations that don't really solve anything. Lots of shortcuts/inappropriate approaches to handling certain issues, particularly with quality
