Just "Okay" - Admissions Representative Chamberlain University Employee Review

Pros

You are technically an hourly employee and most managers were cool with flexing your schedule if there were times you needed to come in late or leave early due to personal appointments, etc. A lot of young people work for the company so it is a good place to start as a recent college graduate.

Cons

It is a sales job in disguise which can be very stressful. You will have many unnecessary meetings all based on "hitting numbers" and it is easy to lose focus on the students that we serve. There seemed to be a lot of favoritism from managers to employees and employees could quickly become disgruntled.

Pros

I've spent many years at Chamberlain, and one of the main reasons is the opportunity for growth. If you're looking for a career rather than just a job, there are clear advancement opportunities at both the enrollment representative and leadership levels. The culture is performance-driven but also coaching-focused, with strong investment in training and development. Chamberlain has strong brand recognition, which makes conversations with prospective students meaningful and rewarding.

Cons

The pace can be demanding during peak enrollment periods, and success requires adaptability as priorities and processes evolve.
