Pros
The work at this company is what you make it. If you work hard and have a strong desire to learn and contribute, you should find great satisfaction at the impact you can make and the amount of responsibility you can take on. There are some very smart and talented people working at this company and they seem to be the ones who have been around longest. In adtech, challenges arise all the time and decisions often need to be made without as much data as you might prefer to have. People who can leverage their intuitions and can digest complex challenges will really enjoy the work here I think. Don't expect a manual for how to do your job, but do expect colleagues who will lend a hand on learning it. It's a small company so there are a lot of opportunities to work cross functionally which I love. Though at times it has been challenging, I've found it to be the most rewarding chapter of my career. Location is also great, literally walk out the door and into BART. Office is new & nice. Not crowded and plenty of space to focus. Colleagues are nice people and there is no toxicity or techbro culture.
Cons
We seem to have an addiction to doing 15 things at once, rather than having strict product & engineering focus and training the business team to stay within that focus.
