Upper management is very toxic. The VP of my department gossiped a lot. They would share news of who was about to be fired, or why someone was let go. They also talked about other departments and would pit employees against each other.
You will also work more hours than what you are paid for. If you are an hourly employee, they will make sure that you only work 8 hours a day. If you are salaried expect to work 10-12 hour shifts, especially if you work in student services. Employees are overworked and overstressed. High employee turnover. Toxic company culture.
