Some management has different rules for different people & def have their favorites. Rude AF staff are allowed to treat customers & colleagues w disrespect & retained because “bartenders are hard to find” despite multiple complaints from staff and customers year after year. If you enjoy being micromanaged & having your personal life interrogated, this is the perfect place for you! Management (some) has a habit of blurring professional boundaries, making invasive, wildly inappropriate comments - nothing is off bounds, your appearance, your health- and overstepping in ways that make you question whether you’re at work or in some bizarre reality show where your private life is everyone’s business. The job itself is fine if you don’t mind the rampant high school gossip circle disguised as a management team and fellow coworkers. If you value a workplace where professionalism and boundaries are respected, look elsewhere.
