Pros
* You will develop resilience, patience, and a strong tolerance for BS. * If you’ve ever wanted a real-life experience of financial survival mode, this is the place. *Real life experience of Employment Tribunals/Legal System. * The team (aside from management) is incredibly supportive, mostly because we’re trauma-bonded by wage theft.
Cons
*Note, every positive review on this page was paid for and instructed as part of an exercise to improve the companies appearance. 1. You Won’t Get Paid - There have been two months of unpaid wages, cited as a 'bank issue', a 'cash flow issue', but turns out it's just a CEO issue. He's acted in line with a con who deliberately and unlawfully withholds wages, nor does he pay his suppliers. It's not financial hardship—it's calculated, unlawful wage theft. 2. The narcissistic leader of this sinking ship, is single-handedly responsible for running the company into the ground. Lies constantly. Evidence suggests cash flow issues existed for months and he isn’t telling stakeholders. Disappears when confronted. You can't even find him at the office because he stopped paying for it and then kicked him out. The company Grievance Policy became under review the second it was followed by staff, and is now under review until he can twist it in a way that benefits him. The CEO presents himself as a visionary, but in reality, he is a serial excuse-maker whose only consistent trait is his ability to avoid responsibility. 3. Financial Chaos & Mismanagement. Chatloop is a textbook example of a failing startup that refuses to admit it's broke and textbook bad faith employment practices. Suppliers haven’t been paid and employees are expected to just “hold tight” while waiting for imaginary money to land. Meanwhile, the CEO is still making empty promises about “exciting things coming soon.” Spoiler: it’s insolvency. Wrongful trading laws should and will catch up with him. Employees have raised concerns about financial mismanagement, and the lack of clarity on payroll has raised legal questions. Final Verdict: RUN. If you like job security, financial stability, and a CEO with basic integrity, this is not the place for you. There'll be a Netflix documentary about this place one day, but it'll just inflate his sad little ego more. 🚨 AVOID AT ALL COSTS. 🚨
