The amazing children, families and CFY-SLP are hands down the best things about Chatter NOLA. She was an absolute delight to work with and I believe her to be one of the hardest working CFY’s I have had the pleasure of meeting.

Do not waste your time interviewing here as your position will turn into something completely different. Be prepared to do your job as well as that of a receptionist and maid. The owner is barely there as she lives in another state. The BCBA puts on a dog and pony show when she comes in town. DO NOT let anyone use your ideas, materials or creations as they will be destroyed by the other therapists in training with no regard to how much money you have spent or time and effort put into planning. I thought I had found a family here but boy was I wrong. I was not allowed to even enter the office to take my items out of my desk. The BCBA demanded that I stay then proceeded to read through my documents and data collection which is completely unethical while on the phone with the owner. Disgusting. I did the right thing by giving a two weeks notice but no good deed goes unpunished. Happily hanging up my “SLP” hat after this hot mess and I have been in the field for over 25 years.
