Pros

work atmosphere with some of the peers (but good ones always left too soon)

Cons

Zero transparency in anything incl. minimal unnecessary things like when a colleague would visit from another location Management changes their minds constantly without proper communication, in a sense can be considered as lied to hire HRs are the worst I had and they talked openly about rating employees on long leaves (paid medical or pregnancy leaves) C or Ds as "otherwise being unfair for those who are working?"

Pros

There are a lot of things that are really great about working for Cheetah Mobile. As you would expect from a truly global company, my colleagues are a very diverse group of people. These men and women come together from different backgrounds, speaking many languages, to help Cheetah Mobile succeed in making the world smarter. Honestly, everyone I work with is stellar. They feel like an extension of my family. We work hard, but we also have fun... and we're well compensated. Perks? Lots! We have a fully stocked kitchen, plus the company pays for our lunches every day. There are designated places to relax, or you can rejuvenate a little bit by playing ping pong, billiards, or foosball. Travel is another one of the amazing perks that Cheetah Mobile offers. Our second headquarters is in Beijing, plus we have many other offices around the world. Some teams also attend several events throughout the year, in the United States and internationally. Probably the best thing about working for Cheetah Mobile is being on the cutting edge of technology. AI is the future, and we have some incredibly smart people who are working on the next big AI innovations. I'm proud to be a part of that, and I'm excited to see what's next!

Cons

Everyone works hard, and sometimes meetings in different time zones extend past "normal" work hours. A few meetings are spoken entirely in Chinese, but there are several colleagues who work together to provide the translation. Getting to Palo Alto from San Francisco or San Jose can be time-consuming, especially with the steady increase in traffic. However, work hours are often flexible so that we can avoid the heavy morning and afternoon commute.
