Managers usually trust engineers to handle things, without constantly checking up on every little thing. The team is competent and helpful, and you get good exposure to different types of work, which helps you build practical experience pretty quickly. The pay and benefits are competitive, and the workload is manageable most of the time (outside of urgent support situations).

Occasional need for after-hours support
