Pros

The people you will work with are great. Chepri has a really good job at hiring talented and hard working people that all get together well and have a good time. Pizza every other Friday. Occasional company trips to the local pub.

Cons

No benefits. They'll pay you what they can talk you down to with no bearing on what others in the same position make. People have been fired for taking sick days. Over a 50% turnover rate due to firings and resignations. Management has their hands tied by the owner. The owner is abusive, sets unrealistic expectations, and blames other for his poor decisions and actions.

Thank you for the review. I definitely understand how you may feel this way. We definitely try to make our work life as casual as possible. Unfortunately, you are misinformed. We have never fired anyone for taking sick days, in our 8 year history. As a matter of fact we have a very liberal time off policy as long has we have notice. We do not have a 50% turn-over rate and as matter of fact we are growing. Management isn't tied down by the owner, they have full control over their respective departments. That being said we take all feedback very seriously, including in our exit interviews and have an open door policy during a formal work-day.

Pros

Awesome opportunity to work at a smaller company that is growing - a lot of people don't appreciate how valuable that is and what potential exists because of the company's size and how fast it is growing. It is definitely a work hard, play hard mentality at Chepri. In order to succeed, you must be willing to put in the work when it's needed (which is only sometimes, not all the time). You will not do well if you're looking to put forth only minimal effort. The teams are all really tight, and often socialize with each other after work and even on the weekends. Overtime, I've come to feel like my co-workers are some of my closest friends. Flex scheduling is nice. You can come in anytime between 7am and 10am, and then leave depending on what time you arrived. That can really come in handy if you have doctor's appointments, kids, things you need to get done or had a little bit too much fun the night before.

Cons

With the flex scheduling taken into consideration, being on time is very important. Also, attendance is huge. You don't want to be late or call off sick too often - especially if you are new. This should be a no brainer at any job, really, but some people will surprise you. Benefits aren't offered, but they should be soon.
