Reviewer, thanks for taking the time to review our company. It seems as though you have a lot of frustration and I am happy to hear you found joy at your new company.
However, this review says a lot more about the reviewer and their character than it does on our company. Intelligent people can tell the difference. The pros and cons actually contradict themselves.
First and foremost MULTI LEVEL MARKETING AND PYRAMID SCHEMES ARE ILLEGAL. Multi level marketing requires personal capital from an employee, we do not require ANY personal capitol. The only investment in our business is time. Secondly, in MLM, employees' pay is based solely on their sales with no hourly base pay, and their manager gets a portion of that representatives sales. We not only pay our employees an hourly base pay, but they get commissions on top of it for their hard work. The managers in our business only make money based on the company revenue just like any business owner. Additionally, an AMAZING and ethical company like Costco would not do business with a company that does not operate at their standard for integrity and fair business practices.
If someone is paying you improperly, that is a FEDERAL CRIME and should be issued to the state.
At Chess Consulting our employees get an hourly base pay plus commission bonuses. A full time account executive averages $600-$1200 a week. Like stated in our first and second round, those who work harder and network get the biggest paychecks. If they aren’t hitting commission, they STILL get an hourly paycheck. That means the business is in fact losing money on that individual. We understand it takes time to get great but just FYI, we are all on the same team here. When our employees make more money and hit commission that means the business does as well. Anyone that sits down for an interview for sales/in-store campaigns should already know that. When our employees do not hit commission, that means the business lost money.
For future, we will do a better job at educating everyone on this.
You mentioned hours. Hours are based off of performance. Think of a championship basketball team, aren’t you going to have the best players on the court and in the game? We take time to develop our team to be the best players but of course we aren’t going to put someone who has lost motivation to push their work ethic in the game when there’s someone else who deserves it. Also, those who have integrity issues and put incorrect clock in times on their time sheets definitely do not deserve more time in the game either.
We apologize for being behind for your interview. You were not the only candidate we saw that day. Just like when I go to the doctor’s office, I have to wait because there are people he needs to see in front of me. We do not want to rush out any candidate that may have questions. We feel we should give everyone who we sit down with time to explain things thorough for them.
Also, we are an independent firm with only 20 employees. We do not have a team of 500 people. Maybe you have the wrong company in mind?
The reason why we have a three part interview process is so that each candidate that we hire understands throughly our focus, what we do day-to-day and our pay structure.
If you have any further questions you can contact us at hr@chessconsultinginc.com. We love questions!
And awesome news, we just landed a deal with Vivint solar and Google. So, I suppose we’re doing something right!
