Pros
The job was pretty slow, thankfully — free drinks, a discount on the food, BOH was never super warm and the whole team supported each other. Lunch rush was at worst like 20 groups at once, but it was pretty typical for a FOH gig. Advancement was an option but not much further than shift lead/managing your own store.
Cons
Poor pay and no tips. Minimum wage with a rule against accepting tips (but allowing cash tips to be split equally among cashiers for walmart gift cards) was really weird. The chicken salad stayed out all day so that was kinda gross. WARNING: this is a christian restaurant so there’s a bunch of weird christian slogans. i felt excluded as somebody who was not religious and as somebody who is gay and it felt very chik-fil-a — IYKYK.
