Pros

Nothing treat us like slaves. No Benefits Bunch of senior aged workers who have no ideas on innovation and technology running the company. All they care about is manual work no ides for automation or innovation. If someone comes up with ideas on automation they lay them off so that existing people can keep their job longer. That is the main reason company is suffering loss.Director reports to VP no chance for lower level employees to bring up anything to senior level. No chance of advancement of career.Just to help 9000 member lives company has 30 plus vendors to work with...

Cons

Very bad Management. Noone cares about work life balance.Bad Practice of hiring H1B instead of US citizen in IT department as they can be made to work longer and treat like immigrants. No overtime pay...No bonus....No work from Home Hours....

Pros

-great managers -non-interpreting staff very familiar working with an interpreter -policies and expectations set for most situations -exceptionally developed department (which includes a senior director) relative to other hospitals, which often lack even a basic interpreting department

Cons

-work volume; often few breaks, definitely not enough to do anything other than work-related tasks (e.g., study for class, make a personal phone call) -inflexible schedule -work flow heavily dependent on coworker proactivity -leadership structure (managers over leads over interpreters) can result in micromanagment
