Pros
I love my coworkers and the facilities are nice.
Cons
Truly the most dysfunctional, petty, and unprofessional work environment I've been in. The negative reviews are all true and you think that it won't affect you, but it will. It seems that there's a managerial training book that they all use: condescending towards employees, blames others for their mistakes and disorganization, and expects yes-men. If you're not ok with being treated like that - then you have a target on your back. Is this how we want to represent ourselves while supposedly claiming to be helpers for the Asian and immigrant community? Most of the employees are part of the population that CSC claims to serve. It's incredibly hypocritical. There is no communal or volunteering spirit. The managers and higher-ups see and treat CSC as a BUSINESS, first and foremost. I'm sure you wanted to join CSC because you wanted to help the underserved. I promise you - you will not get that here. You will feel like your good will was exploited. Patients are seen as Medi-Cal and Medicare cash cows. I wonder how their business would fare if patients actually knew how horribly their employees are treated. It's truly the providers and employees on the front-line keeping this organization alive.
