They provide a decent salary

They do not protect their teachers nor value them. They allow parents to report this for every little thing and believe everything parents say providing a very unsafe and unhealthy environment for the teachers. They allow employees you are also parents to abuse their position as parents to bully and mistreat teachers and other employees. Overall just a very toxic and mentally dangerous place to work. I would avoid working for the school division at all costs. I literally left the entire province of Saskatchewan because of how bad my experience was to try education in a Providence that actually supports and protects their teachers.
