Pros

Having quality, Whole Foods readily accessible while working is always a pro. If you work in the mornings, doing prep work keeps you on a good schedule, and you get a nice mix of interactions. No customers in the morning, then you help the lunch rush and you go home around 2 or 3 pm. Uniforms are free

Cons

Out of the 4 regional managers I had, only one of them was genuinely helpful and made more than one appearance at my store a month. Everyone else was lazy and not as knowledgeable as they should have been. Chipotle is very particular with how things are done, and that lack of flexibility to cater to your specific store’s needs kills and desire to try harder than I needed to.

Pros

Learning and growing to cultivate your own career path into a competent General Manager. The hours are longer than regular but the position is labeled as salary hourly with a minimum of 50 hours per week which guarantees 10 hours if overtime per week.

Cons

The long hours can be tiring and the expectations are less than or equivalent to that of a General Manager and depending who your boss is dependent on what you learn and how you can grow.
