Pros

The co workers were usually nice but like with every job you like some and others not so much. Also had some really nice regulars who would always make the day better.

Cons

The managers at my location were very neglectful. Many times, all of the managers on duty would go "on break" at the same time (was the worst when it was a busy day), and would not do the tasks only they were authorized to do. Also had a few occasions when the chip fryer wasn't working early in the morning and I had to drive my own vehicle to another location by myself with the boxes uncooked chips (that was if they didn't have any to spare at the other location) and fry up bags and bags of chips and drive them back to my location before the store opened... usually had about 1 1/2 hours to do so if I was lucky, and they never compensated me for the gas. Had to do this by myself... I was not a manager... I was minimum wage and had only been working there for about 2 months.... the managers were not compassionate at all, and what I mean by that was I got a very bad case of strep throat had to get some shots and was told by my doctor to wait at least 24 hours before going back to work, during that time and for about 2 weeks after my throat was so bad I was not able to eat very much at all, I was literally living off of broth cause of the pain I'd get in my throat when eating. Lost over 10 pounds and I was already under weight before and had to take some days off cause I was feeling so weak and sick. when I came in while feeling that way the manager would degrade me and get upset that I wasn't working as fast as they wanted... I almost passed out at work and was told that strep wasn't that bad.. but each case is different, it was the first time i had it that bad..

Pros

Learning and growing to cultivate your own career path into a competent General Manager. The hours are longer than regular but the position is labeled as salary hourly with a minimum of 50 hours per week which guarantees 10 hours if overtime per week.

Cons

The long hours can be tiring and the expectations are less than or equivalent to that of a General Manager and depending who your boss is dependent on what you learn and how you can grow.
