Pros
Opportunity to work with a variety of disciplines
Department has young, vibrant employees
Bi-monthly department team meetings
Location
If you are a new grad willing to jump in and get your hands dirty, and be fully independent in managing aides, PTA's, communication with MD's and DC's, this is a place to grow. You will quickly learn your value. Advocate for yourself, bi-annual reviews and higher salary, as this company will low ball employees at every opportunity.
Cons
Large caseload, shared between PT/PTA's - see some patients once a month
Short appointments and one to one time with patients (25 minutes)
Heavy use of aides (could be a pro, though consistency is lost)
Charting time based on productivity (i.e. two hours a week for >90%)
Strictly no over time
Often difficult to get time off approved, esp. holidays
Small gym space
Minimal time for mentorship and collaboration with other departments
Minimal opportunity for community involvement
No accountability or support from upper management
Emphasis on volume and profits
General disrespect for females, people of color, and LGBTQ+
All the above are reasons for high employee turnover i.e. max of one to two years
