Pros
I think this is overall a great company to work for, it is the first place were I felt that I was respected and my opinion was taken into consideration. Ideas are always encouraged, even if management knows they won't work, you are encouraged to have ideas and find out for yourself where they can lead. The work hours are flexible which is great because you can plan around commute times or family needs. The company is very family-friendly and if there are any emergencies that come up they are very accommodating. In regards to other reviews I have seen, I think these tend to be caused by what someone is looking for in a job/manager rather than an actual issue with the company. I have received very direct feedback that could seem harsh but, I can't say that is has been undeserved, and even if it was unduly blunt it has always been followed up with a clearer explanation of the issue. I have worked in a company where I was yelled at and constantly belittled and this is not it. In a corporate environment you have to have thick skin and be able to take constructive criticism (even if it hurts) and turn it into something positive, if you show that you have taken the advise to heart and made a change you shouldn't have any issues. To work here you need to have some drive, you need to be the type of person who can work without being asked to and, if you see a problem or something you can improve upon, be the person who suggests alternatives. This is not the place for someone who is just looking for a job that they can go do the minimum required and call it a day but you will be rewarded for consistently giving it your best effort and helping anyway you can.
Cons
The company is very small and while this can be great in some aspects, it also leaves you wondering what growth opportunities will be available in the future. Though I believe if you show your value to the company they will always find a place for you.
