Pros
CEC is a pretty good first job opportunity for students looking to acquire much needed customer service skills while learning to persevere through high stress fast paced interaction in the hospitality sector.
Cons
They're pretty cheap on shift availability for most of the staff and the pay rate for everyone except for the technical managers and general manager is extremely sub par it was about 40% less than other jobs in my position. Alongside communication with upper level management and head office was iffy at best especially after the buyout. During my 3 years there none of our human resources contact information was never updated and seeing people only getting 5 hours a week was pretty sad.
