- About 95% of conversations with management revolve around "mentorship," while only 5% are about project-specific topics. Attempts to discuss project needs are usually unsuccessful. Managers may acknowledge concerns, but meaningful discussions and exchange of ideas are rare. - Every six months, employees are asked to write performance reviews for their colleagues. In my experience, negative feedback about management was not tolerated, and I was dismissed after providing such feedback.
