Pros

Allows you to move up quickly and gather experience on multiple responsibilities and skills to really allow your resume to look great. Cash handling, stock and inventory, custodial/ushering duties, customer service, ticket services, food handling and preparation, bar certification (if you’re of age and your location has a bar), barista training (again, if your location has a cafe, mine did), you learn to work with large crowds during major film releases, you become versatile with all certain types of guests and situations. It just makes your resume set for future career opportunities and advancements in your future.

Cons

Expected to work holidays. Christmas, Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving, New Years, New Years Eve, etc. Summer shifts for managers can breach into and end around 1AM-3AM if it’s busy. You get overworked sometimes, especially if you become in charge of inventory and unloading palettes of the inventory orders.
