Pros

I literally cannot think of any, I would say autonomy but sales managers will find a way to consistently hound you and breath down your neck, negating the normal autonomy that most sales roles provide.

Cons

Too many to accurately list without writing a novel, so I will leave you with a chapter. Aggressive/Borderline harassing sales management to start. You use (beat the crap out of) your own vehicle on daily cold calls. There are unrealistic sales goals right from the start, and practically zero time to build up a pipeline or rhythm in your sales before management will start making threats. I am not a complainer, have never been fired from a job (including this one...left on my own accord in under a year as is about avg for a Cintas sales rep), but this company is by far the worst company I have ever encountered. Employees (particularly sales) are in some ways encouraged to get business by any means necessary. Customers are consistently lied to, and I have seen products be added to invoices during their "quarterly" sales contests. All in all a very shady company to work for, from start to finish. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Pros

The Commission is great. You can make good money in this place.

Cons

While the pay is good, the culture here is not. It is incredibly restrictive. It is very much a “Do what I want you to do, how I want you to do it, and when I want you to do it” management style. They constantly remind you of how much money you can make there which gets annoying after a while. The service team and the sales team are constantly at odds. Not just Cintas, but the industry in general is very sleazy, much like a car dealership. They screw over their smaller customers with enormous year over year price increases. I know a particular salesperson who is having a lot of success their who has no problem lying to his customers, and never answering their calls when the problems come. As long as he keeps the deals coming Cintas does not care. Corporate greed is on full display at Cintas. The Management Development program for college graduates seems like a great opportunity. If you are a young college graduate and you get the opportunity, I would recommend that.
