Management promotions aren't based on company merit, experience, or need (especially in the Midwest BU). Immense workloads. Low pay even for SMs. Inconsistent weekly schedules. Shifts are often covered by one CSR/ASM/SM on the premises. Upper management neglects your personal safety inside their stores. Too many angry patrons. Insurance benefits are terrible. Outmoded store technologies break down repeatedly. No travel expense reimbursement for SMs/ASMs/CSRs/FCs. Zero focus on future merchandising trends. Too many shift call-offs by CSRs/FCs/ASMs. DMs do nothing to facilitate store product and staffing needs. No OT for CSRs/FCs/ASMs/SMs, even for company-sponsored events like Fuel Day or store grand (re-)openings. Too many outdated online training exercises. Nonexistent work-life balance; you are always on call.
