-Avg promotion time is 6-7 yrs - to get a promotion you need to pound on your chest and perhaps step over others -Long hours are expected - you have a flexible work schedule but expected to work all the time -No more stock options or RSU's -Moving jobs to low cost regions of the world -New leaders coming into the company are disconnected from the employee base - new leaders just hire "Their guy", and start all over -In just the past year: Finance layoff, forced rotations, No more free soda's, No more paying for cell phone and home internet, and movement of finance jobs outside of US or to lower cost non-SJ locations - what's next?
