Pros

Really none; not even the location is appealing

Cons

Company is seriously understaffed. Management really has no clue what is going on and you can basically tell them anything you want them to believe as long as you have their ear. Most of the IT Department (Developers) are not direct employees of Carco (they work for a Vendor Company that bills back to Carco), so there is no accountability and it is in the best interest of IT to deliver substandard installs. They get to just charge more to Carco to fix the problems and this cost is passed on directly to Carco's customers. If I was a Company looking to implement or change my background screening program, I would stay clear of this Company. They talk a good game, but they are terrible. Turnover in the company is very high because there is no upward mobility, salaries are very low, bonuses are non-existent and they even do everything in their power to avoid cost of living increases.

Pros

Great team members, love the remote working environment, and recognition for hard work is common. The company is doing very well managing through the tough economic environment even though difficult decisions are being made to adjust to the marketfluctuations.

Cons

Can be difficult to stay connected with remote work and some leaders are better at it than others. More consistent communications from the top would be ideal.

Pros

Remote work, good people, unlimited time off if you are able to use it.

Cons

Little recognition for people who put in long hours and want the company to succeed. 2% annual raises don't offset cost of living increases.
